Students of the department of mechanical engineering from the Nnamdi Azikiwe University, Awka recently reached a major high when five of their students produced a car in the make of a formula 1 car as their project. The students are Okoyenta Augustus, Okeke Chukwuebuka, Ofoegbu Kenechukwu, Ibekwe Ebenezer and Ezeani Chikeluba.
According to Augustus, the car was made from locally gotten material, cost about N400,000 and took two years to put together. The students on Tuesday, October 21, 2014 drove the car to the office of the Vice Chancellor, Joseph Ahaneku and the university community.
