Kanye West has denied that he uses illegal download websites.
The rapper surprised everyone by posting a pic of his internet browser to show he was listening to a Sufjan Stevens track, but one of the tabs read ‘Pirate Bay Torrent Xfe’.

This had us all rubbing our jaws wondering if Kanye had accidentally revealed that he had visited Pirate Bay, a website used for illegal downloads of music and films.

But apparently the whole thing was simply Ye acknowledging legions of fans are getting their hands on illegal copies of his new album The Life Of Pablo via the torrent site.

‘Kanye purposely did that as a joke. He is very aware of TLOP being illegally downloaded over half a million times on Pirate Bay and thought it would be funny to have those sites pulled up.

‘He was trolling from the studio and everyone took the bait.  If you look closely its not even his computer – it’s a Samsung monitor with protools running in the background.

‘Of course he doesn’t use torrent sites and doesn’t condone stealing.’
So there we have it. The joke’s on us.

Kanye fans and/or Pirate Bay users will be happy to hear that he might have some new music coming out on Friday.
